Who else here thought that Enter the Dragonfly was one of the worst Spyro games made so far?

Man, that game kept freezing on me. The graphics were pretty good, but had a weird frame rate. Any other little rants about the game?

The graphics were good, too good. They were so good I wasn't used to them. And Hunter just doesn't look right. And he looks around to the left and right before he starts talking for some reason.

They just had to have him test us on gliding and hovering again, didn't they? For what? A dragonfly. Those things were just a pain to catch.

What I thought was odd, what that if the dragonflies got partnered with a dragon, then wouldn't they go with Spyro willingly rather thatn run away going "nanny nanny boo boo"?

Oh, I know, they were stupid!

And Universal doesn't know what they're doing. It's just good that they realized that another BTTF would just get them killed by all of the Backies.

I wouldn't know much, seeing as how I don't have a GC ( Behold! It's Darkeiya the technological lacker!! tongue ). But I've read the reviews on the game, and they all pretty much suck...I've also heard that the game's frame rates are at about 15 frames/sec.

Well, I actually have the PS2 version, and panthergirl does too (we've had e-mail correspondence for quite a while now) so don't feel weird.

My notification e-mail hasn't come to me, and it's been two days! Argh!

Am I the only one who LIKED Enter the Dragonfly? The graphics are good, the challenge was good, the boss battle was the most memorable in a Spyro game. (Seeing Ripto turn into a giant monster with fangs= priceless)

I say that if you don't own it, you should get it for the X-Box or the Gamecube. The crappy game you're playing is for the Playstation2, and like The Wrath of Cortex, the GC and XBox versions are just so much more better. The loading times aren't even noticable on my Gamecube. grin

Oh, and the Dragonflies run away from you because they're influenced by Ripto's spell. It says so in the official Game Guide.

You need to get it. The normal price tag is often less than 20$. It was a flop, I have to admit, but it was a good flop. grin

I would get it, I just can't find it anywhere, not even used. I saw a copy of it once at a GameStop, but that was...er...two Easters ago. (?)
