Everyone on the forum can ask me anything on a game they're having trouble with. From cheat codes, to boss battle tactics, to any upcoming releases. Also reviews from other people and their ratings.

And when I mean anything, I mean anyother game besides Spyro. You can even ask about any Spyro games too! Go ahead! smiley

Have you ever played Dragon Rage? I'm stuck on the one part where you have to rescue the dragon eggs.

Do you know how to defeat Geary and Velo on CNK?

For RosyBoa-

Level 3: Scramble

This is a timed mission, so hurry up. Destroy the wagon behind you at the start. (Please make a note of the seriously ugly music here)Fly over the water to the left. Destroy the wagon. Enter the camp and destroy the second building to the left. Pick up the water sphere, then pass through the water ward.

Now, if you look at the radar, you'll see the wagons indicatedas yellow arrows. Just follow them, and destroy them quickly. You don't have much time to fool around. Also, there appears to be more than the 10 wagons mentioned in the mission objectives.

Sadly, I don't have Dragon Rage.

For DDl-

Geary: Recommended Character- Crash/Cortex

Geary will race you across Android Alley, and he also has two robots drivingwith him, which will help him. As you drive forward, Geary will instantly get a head start on you (usually) and will drop several explosives behind him. Try to avoid that, and just be careful until you get out of the train area. Geary will get really far ahead of you if you get trampled, which is why I recommend you
take the usual tower shortcut when you get there.

Also, try to hit Geary with a missile if you can, because that will slow him down. By the time you use the
tower shortcut, you'll easily catch up. Once that race is over, Velo appears in person and challenges you...

Velo: Recommended Character- Coco/N. Gin

Velo is by far the hardest boss of the five. The thing is, whenever you get ahead of him, he will immediately opt to fire a Bowling Bomb at you, and he's the absolute king of homing missiles. If you're behind, he will always be shooting Bowling Bombs backwards, and he's extremely fast. That's also not to mention that this race takes place on Hyper Spaceway, a track that we have not seen yet. It requires a lot of turning, which means that Coco or N. Gin is needed. And to add to that, at the end of the course there are some obstacles which can slow you down. And need I mention Velo has two cronies with him?

Hyper Spaceway will start as you speed forward and you'll find a double speed pad. Velo will get way ahead of you, but just let him. Once you get a few crates, you should hope that it's a missile or at least a speed boost, and then get close to Velo. If you can hit him with a missile, you will really slow him down. After you get past the double speed pad, you'll reach a spaceway with fire just a bit ahead of you. Try to time it so you can get to the one of the speed pads without getting hit, but if you can't do that, just ignore the speed
pads.

After you get past that spaceway you will get to several jumps down. Here's an opportunity to take a shortcut that Velo doesn't take, which will allow you to get ahead of him! When you reach that next area, you may find a ledge, a long way down to the left. Do a few power boosts before that, and on the last one,
which should be a really big one, jump over there and then drive forward to reach another new area. The normal path will lead down there too, just a few
more jumps. Still, this way is shorter. Once you're down there, just head forward, but be careful as you'll have to turn right a lot.

When you're down there, you'll find out where Coco or N. Gin pay off. These are by far some of the hardest turns in the game, and since they're straight, Velo
is likely to hit your kart. Try and go very fast so you don't risk getting hit. After you do that, you'll reach a circular area, actually shaped like an "8". I found that Velo always tries to hit you with a Bowling Bomb here. After you see that bomb, immediately drive out of the way. Also, if you take the left path for the first half, take the right one for the second, or the other way around
if you take the right path.

You'll then reach yet another area full of lightning, but it's one of the parts where you can drive sideways, effectively moving up and down on. This is probably the most difficult part of the course. In front of you, you'll find some lightning, so try to drive around it and you'll find some special weapon crates. If you get 3 Bowling Bombs or 3 Homing Missiles and Velo drives by...
you know what to do. Be very careful though, as you'll want to avoid the lightning. Also, detonating the Bowling Bombs works well. You'll then reach the
finish line was very quickly. This may requires some retrys, so good luck...

Well, I do have some trouble with Resident Evil Code Veronica. I've been playing battle mode a couple of times and have ranked A with both alternative Clair and Wesker, yet I haven't got access to the lineair launcher with both figures. Do you happen to know how to unlock that thing? It's not all that fun to fight against all those mutants with a mere knife.

Ok, I know I'm double posting, but since this is a completely different subject, I thought it would be less confusing this way.

I've finally received Spyro 2: GTG a couple of days ago. I've been attempting to get all the skill points, however, haven't been able to defeat Gulp without being hit. Do you happen to know any strategy to use in order not to get hit? Maybe Ripto could become a problem later on as well...

Hmm...to beat Gulp. Ok, here's my stratedgy:

The first time I beat him, I only died twice. Ok, you probably already know that he'll attempt to squish you by jumping on you. Just charge to the side, and go near a silver tank and charge it into him. Just don't be near it when it explodes, or you'll get hurt too! Next, he'll shoot out these electricity balls to you; just two at a time. When he shoots the first, charge a little, then stop short and do the same thing with the next shot.
Light a nearby bomb towards Gulp, and get outta the way!

Then, he'll attempt to squish you again and try to shoot you, and these little rockets come out of the eggs. Go near a rocket and swallow it, but don't shoot it yet! See, I made up this little trick call the "Double Scar." (I know...weird name, but I was 12) After you swallow the first rocket, go infront of another one. THEN shoot the rocket, and quickly swallow the other rocket before Gulp jumps. You might want to save it for later.

Soon every weapon will show up in the eggs, and try to repeat what you did earlier. I recommend not using the bombs much cuz if Gulp tries to jump you when its lit, he'll just squish it. After you hit him the fourth time, he won't pause anymore! He'll just keep trying to jump you, so ya gotta be on your toes...or fingers. rolleyes He'll even swallow the weapons around the arena and use it agains you! You don't have to worry about him swallowing a tank though. Just watch out if he swallows a bomb or rocket!

Now when he swallows the rocket, there's a way that you can backfire it to him. Once you see the rocket flying towards you, charge to the side of Gulp, and hopefully it'll hit him. Right at the very two last health dots. He'll start to shoot you again and jump you, but more frequently. Just dodge them, and try to use the weapons to beat him.

Don't forget that in Gulp's Overlook that another one of the skill points is hitting Ripto in that level with one of the rockets. A good idea is not trying to accomplish both on the same try. I learned that the hard way....

In fact, don't try to get the skill point for all three battles unless you have the Superflame. It makes them a lot easier, especially Ripto. You can get the Superflame by completing the game and opening that door in Dragon Shores.

I can see what you mean. I've got the powerup and I've been able to defeat gulp easily, didn't even have to move.. And hit Ripto at the same attempt. Ripto however, is still a problem to me... Most of the times I tried to defeat him perfectly I get hit when I still have to hit Ripto once or twice on his mechanical bird.

I'm stuck on a few.

Beyond Good and Evil:

In the Old Slaughterhouses, When you stop using the Hovercraft and you have to press that switch that opens a gate. It's timed. And I can't seem to do it. Double H says that there must be a different way.

I'm sorry I haven't been on for a few days.

For Jen: Do you mean to learn wall kick? Well, you have to go through the Ice Cidadel to reach him. There is a room with a dark gem in it. Just smash it, and a hole will break open. You'll fall, and DragonElder Astor should be there.
