Anyone who's ever been to the Ed Edd -n- Eddy section of ff.net knows that they're in the 700's for number of fics. Well, I was just there and somehow they only have around 400. I know it's not that big a deal; I'm acting like it's the end of the world as we know it (Thank Bob for R.E.M.) but how can about 300 fics dissapear in the last three weeks? TurquoisePhoenix, I recall your journal posting about a group of flamers called the Alliance or something and I think this might just be their work. I've also experienced this sort of thing in the H*R section, just in smaller quantities. I just hope that they don't come to the Spyro section next...

This is the thread where you can post any odd, strange or confusing non-Spyro happenings in the fanfic world.

Yep, that was of the Alliance's doing. They brag about the fact that the Powerpuff Girls lost over 500 stories to them.

Censored them! We have to stop them somehow! Anyone think we should start our own alliance?

I think we'd get too destructive....With all these evil dictators walking around *coughRiptocough*. grin We sort of already have our own alliance right here on this forum; that's how I look at it.

Well, if we get one I'm joining. They'd better not touch Crash Bandicoot-- If we do what would we call ourselves?

I'll keep sending those e-mails to FF.net telling them about the misdeeds.

I might be a fool to ask this, but how is that 'alliance' able to make sure 300 fic's get deleted. Do they flame them until the author gives up and deletes his / her own story?

their path remains unclear to them. But even before that moment, they had long since lost themselves...

Uhh...I think you report the story for possible abuse and then the administration does something about it. They must have a legion of members to get that many fics deleted.
