« Thread started on: Aug 26th, 2005, 01:58am »

To explain the first choice, I kind of stick with my belief that the Lost Fleet was not a Haunted House/Graveyard type of level. Graveyard for boats, yes, but I'm talking about graveyards that involve tombstones and ghost enemies and zombies and scary stuff like that. wink

Second choice, mine levels have appeared very scarely, but at least they aren't mindnumbingly scarce like the levels themed after music. The only levels I could list that come close are:
Glimmer (Spyro 2) and Thieve's Den (Spyro: ETD). And they didn't have actual mine shafts, dynamite, and stuff like that. XP

Third choice: All the castles seem enchanted. We need some giant stone buildings that are surrounded in spikes and are filled with dungeons! Maybe some sort of stronghold akin to Sly Cooper 2's fourth level.

Fourth choice, I remember absolutely no evil carnivals or circuses in any of the Spyro games. It's always cool to target the places where we usually have such fun. Stuff such as climbing rollercoasters to get collectables, beating up clowns, and giant tents would work.

Fifth choice-Well aware of the level in one of the Season games. Personally want a moon level game in one of the console games. Lower gravity equals higher jumps.

Sixth choice- ...Don't ask. They're cool. XP

Seventh choice- Again, aware of the level that was a giant cake in one of the Season games. Couldn't be bothered. Imagine a highly rendered level covered in sweets in one of the console games. Maybe the villain had a spell backfired and turned a good portion of the land into candy and Spyro gets attacked by evil gingerbreadgnorcs. I don't know.

Eighth choice-Run on the ceiling, teleporter mazes, force fields, space in the windows, airlocks, all that good stuff.

The monster's belly idea!
Or the space staion, I like that too.

Hmm... I remember this really good level set in the belly of some prehistoric beast in the PS1 game Ape Escape. The level was really quite fun - shame that the graphics are so darn outdated now.

Another plus to the belly idea is that it would be really easy to fit it into the game's plot - surely easy enough for even VU to do a half-decent job...

The space station level sounds awesome. I always wondered how Death Egg Act 2 would be in 3D, and going upside down is one of the crowning glories of that level.

I would like to see a space station level. It would be very fun, at least in my opinion.

It will be castles for me... I like castles and it does fit in the fantasy theme better. ^^

I voted for a sort of castle/prison setting. Fen's right, it does fit in the fantasy theme. But I would also like to see Spyro go to DA MOOOOOOON!

Hey, if they want it G-rated, the exit could be the mouth or a blowhole if the monster happens to be a giant whale. But then again, in today's society, fart jokes = teh funneh (Or else they wouldn't add the Mammoth and Sparx scene in A Hero's Tail) and we'd exit through the butt after fighting a themed boss. (A giant 'roid? "Rar! I spew blood and colon mucus at you!")

I'm surprised that no one voted for Candyland yet. If anyone has ever played Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie for any next-gen system (assuming no one has; only I play everything.), you will realize that candyland levels are sweet.

Literally.

I still then any of the exits would be sick...Tho.....THe stomach is more sick the the mouth or blow hole anywho.

I Call candy land to colorful with evil all around, least in the spyro games, THats how a Felt in AHT and ETD. Dragonfly gone missing and The little dragons are Worried about there Kites stuck some place? and the dark Gems Just didn't seem to destroy MUCH. after destroying them I didn't notice that much of a change >>

and the Pink/purple trees just gave me shivers.

Its Just Doesn't work For me ><

I was expecting, with the previews as to how the Dark Gems were sucking the happiness out of the world, I'd see a lot more bent and crooked trees without leaves and dead grass. But alas...

That's sort of why I want a Haunted House level. Dead plants.

Actually, Mad Monster Mansion from Banjo-Kazooie. That, my friend, is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Boarded-up mansion, haunted church, living tombstones.

Another good example would be Boo's Big Haunt or whatever it's called in Super Mario 64. The music is enough to give you chills. >_>
