Generally a place to post any viruses you might have heard of going around, to warn the general public.

I heard about this from an inside source (aka the PWP). There is an email gonig around from "The Budweiser Frogs" or something to that effect. It's a virus email. If opened, this virus will wipe out your hard drive.

The same sources tell me that if you recieve such an email, you are to not open it at all. Instead, delete it as fast as you can.

I hear voices in my head. And not one of them like you.

Interesting... I never received a virus email in my life, but I will keep my eyes peeled for this one *goes dangerously near the delete button for when it arrives*

My advice: Don't open any emails unless they are from people you know. I think that's the best way to protect yourself from stuff in emails.

Hmm... I'm with Fenrina - I've never actually recieved an email virus... then again, I can't remember the last time that I got an email! tongue

Anyway, most good antivirus programs come with a built-in email scanner these days.

Besides, the real danger is getting a Phising scam - now those I HAVE had, and lots of. Always check that you really trust the site before giving it your personal details, and NEVER give your personal details across an insecure connection - check that the first part of the URL reads "https://". If it just says "http://" (no 's') - DON'T SEND IT! EVER!

The cries of misplaced hopes and dreams
Condense upon the glass.
As photons fly and children cry
For what they know has passed.
Farewell my confidant of the days
Of Holi that have been!
With heavy heart, I do depart,
And leave you now to dream
