I too, an a Spyro/Elora shipper. In fact, I'm very disappointed in VU for being Elora haters. LEAVE ELORA OUT OF ONE MORE GAME, AND I'LL BE MORE EVIL THAN EVER!

Okay, no more psychoness...

My reasons for supporting this pairing...

* Elora was really helpful to Spyro in the course of Spyro 2. She talked to you in each world and she explained the cost of the Talismans for the bosses.
* She likes Spyro, and Spyro likes her back.
* Elora was able to pull herself out of her line of duty in order to visit Spyro in the Forgotten Worlds.
* Elora's reaction to Spyro's protests against love. Nuff said.

Such a shame that she only appeared in two games (She got a mention in Spyro Orange.) because they looked like a true-blue pairing, even if you put the whole dragon/faun thing into play...

After defeating Ripto, Elora "kissed" Spyro. First, I thought it was the classical "reward for saving our world". Then, the epilogue showed that Elora loved Spyro, yet he doesn't seem to love her back.
I'm pretty sure that, in fact, he didn't even notice that Elora wanted to kiss him! XP

*also a Spyro/Elora supporter*

Why must VU leave her out? Heck, they probably hate all interspecies relations, not just Spyro/Elora. Anyone else notice that Bianca is missing in AH'sT?

That's the scary thing; I hope they don't leave another supporting female character out. I thought both Bianca/Hunter and Elora/Spyro were awesome. I can see why they don't like a dragon/faun deal, but why hate on the mammalian coupling? At least that's plausible...

Bust still I support Spyro/Elora. ^_^

I may not be a supporter of this pairing, but to leave out Elora from the series is sad... she was such a nice character, and she did help Spyro out in his first day in Avalar. I think Elora should return as a supporting character.

And to not include Bianca is stupid, Hunter and Bianca would have made a great couple too... Isomniac did a great job getting the two together, but VU came and ruined it. =(

I'm not a shipper of this pairing, but I respect it and those who support it, even if it doesn't make much sense to me ^_^;
However, completely ignoring the character just because one doesn't support the pairing is outrageous. Bring back Elora dammit!

I seem to think of both this pairing and the Spyro/Ember pairing as almost identical to Sonic/Sally and Sonic/Amy in the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom.

This pairing has a brown furry redheaded woman that's lean and elegant, is not the same species as her lover, is quite smart and helps her boyfriend whenever possible, and her boyfriend flirts back.

Spyro/Ember is like Sonic/Amy because the female is a pink member of the same species that's almost fangirly in terms of relationship. See also Link/Ruto from Ocarina of Time and Mario/Bombette from Paper Mario.

Yeah. grin

"Elora (Spyro character)
Elora the faun is a character in the Spyro the Dragon series of games. Since her introduction in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage (Gateway to Glimmer in Europe), there have been many speculations that she and Spyro had a relationship growing, however, since Vivendi Universal Games has left her out of the current games, the "Elora x Spyro" shipping has lost popularity."

I'm not really sure about this whole Spyro/... fill in the blank with whoever. My younger sister seems to ave it in her head that she is married to Spyro and one of the plushies she has is their son. Ha ha ha.
The disturbing part about this as you all know is I always pretend to be Spyro, tongue tongue tongue tongue tongue tongue

O-kay. I didn't need to picture that. @_@

VU doesn't realize what they're doing by abandoning this shipping. Elora is a headstrong, rather likable female character that, if I talk in the producer point of view, would reel in more female players since she represents a heroine a bit more than Ember does.

Ember is sugar-coated pink "princess" stereotype (If I put it blunt, no offense), Elora looks to be a buttkicker but still has that awkward "damsel in distress" moment every once in a while.

So in conclusion, by losing Elora and Bianca, they've lost the more interesting female characters.

I fully agree.

Sadly, VU seems to think that Spyro needs some adorable, high-pitched, cardboard-cutout of a girl to be with. If that's an example of VU's idea of a female character, then I hate to see who they replace Bianca with.

I keep getting this image of some busty species of big cat (cheetah, snow leopard, lioness) with an even higher-pitched voice in a swimsuit who's only purpose in life is to be the fanservice. Scary...

(1. Ember fans, sorry if that upset you)
(2. Fanboys! Quit drooling!)
