Remember to give reasons why you like or don't like a certain character. Just saying "Ripto Sucks!" is not going to earn you any friends over here. ;)

Bloody chainsaw. Look, LOOK! Now I'm using color in my fricken posts! It's a habit from the Spyro role-play forum. Okay, back on the topic.

Nah, Spyro doesn't need a girl. He has Hunter and other friends. Why does he need a fricken girl for? She'd just get in the way and take away Spyro's freedom. Don't date until you're 85 at least.

I think Ember has more or less replaced elora as Spyro's "girl' or "love interest". However that doesn't mean Elora can't be revived at some point...

maybe spyros homosexual! just kidding! wink

I dont know where every one gets this whole spyro/ember thing. i mean ember flirts with spyro at the start of AHT and he shows no interest and distaste. on the other hand he seems interested in elora and on the whole species thing that really doesn't matter. maybe if elora ever does come back they wont want kids because they'll be too busy doing the whole hero thing. and as some people said ember would be no use and get in the way. all she'd do is clean herself. on the other hand elora helped spyro all through out ripto's rage. what did ember do to help?

Just because she didn't help him much in AHT doesn't mean she won't be helpful in another game SS.

Canon? loflnoone because there is no canon "girl" for Spyro yet. Though if they ever use a chick that can take names behind right next to Spyro, I'd say GO FOR IT! I mean Sheila is the closest we have to that right now if I'm not mistaken...

Fanon? I prefer Sheila or Elora... I don't like Ember because she reminds me somewhat of the stereotypical "omfg i luv teh hero" chick. And that seems to be the only purpose of the character - to be GF for *insert male (or sometimes female) character here, usually main protagonist* >>; though I don't know much about the newer games; this is opinion strictly based off of Wikipedia and what other people have told me.

Well, that's all I have to go off of. If I knew a bit about her personality, I could match the shipping a bit better, and I might support it.

The problem isthat her role in AHT is brief as is her role in Shadow Legacy. But I think she'll play a larger future in a future game. It would be nice If Spyro in order to complete an adventure needed Ember to accompany him. We could see how they interact. I'd bet Spyro would put his claw down and say "Ember, I need your help, and talking my ear off about great it is to accompany me won't help. Ok?"

Eh...I think ember would get on my nerves if she actually had a major part in a game....I hate pink...Maybe if they made her a little less gurly and annoying, then I might consider supporting a spyro n' ember pairing...

Yet love is also something we all need Storm, in all its forms. We need the love of friends, but we also need the love of a significant other. Spyro has the first, but (as of yet) not the second.

I've come to believe you can live without the latter. Because remember, love can be VERY painful. I think Spyro's playing it smart. Hunter and Bianca just got incredibly lucky because real life love does not work that way. The other person almost never loves you back.

I would dispute that Storm. in a serious relationship, being loved by the other person is essential for the realtionship to continue growing . Yes there are instances where that is not the case, but I do not think that the instances where the other person does not love you far outnumber the instances where he/she does.
