Well, I liked the graphics and the breath weapons and the worlds. The thing I had the most problems with was when I'd walk by a waterfall, or a whirlwind. ANd I'd hear it make it's little sounds, but then I'd walk away, and all through out the level, the sound would get stuck and I'd hear it everywhere in the level!

It's incredibly annoying! I've even gone to the menu and turned down the sound effects volume, but it would still keep going!

Do you have the PS2 version, because that's never happened to me before.

Yep, you probably are TP. It's like Sonic Heroes... you know what, it's almost exactly like Heroes! Both had very little story, like the original one of each.

But Sonic 1 is still fun, even though it lacks the Spin Dash that I've gotten used to.

When it hit Blockbuster stores, I rented it and beat it in three days! 100%! grin I then got it for my birthday, just for the heck of it. In my opinion, I didn't mind all the glitches or problems, or even if it was short or not. I pretty much like it. (I ignored all the problems by using the magic of the "mute button!")

The third round when you had to fight Ripto in his Hulk size FREAKED ME OUT!

Yeah, it was pretty fun. I still didn't like the long loading times, or any of the other glitches.

Hulk Ripto was my favorite surprise in that game. Ripto wasn't puny for once, and boy, was he giant! That alone made the game worthwhile. I even added that Ripto form into my The Realms of Chaos story.

*wishes for Hulk Ripto to return in a future game*

Am I the only one who LIKED Enter the Dragonfly? The graphics are good, the challenge was good, the boss battle was the most memorable in a Spyro game. (Seeing Ripto turn into a giant monster with fangs= priceless)

I say that if you don't own it, you should get it for the X-Box or the Gamecube. The crappy game you're playing is for the Playstation2, and like The Wrath of Cortex, the GC and XBox versions are just so much more better. The loading times aren't even noticable on my Gamecube. grin

Oh, and the Dragonflies run away from you because they're influenced by Ripto's spell. It says so in the official Game Guide.

I liked it too, but the game was too short, in my opinion!

I know all you ETD lovers are starting to come out, but I thought it was a dissapointment, and in many ways marked the end of Spyro for me. In fact, I see the new Spyros as "these evil, demented, possessed, cruel and demented clones, made by a wicked sorcerer/gnorc/rynoc/bad-guy/scientist turned part lousy-programmer at the top of the darkest tower of the dreaded Universal fortress", but then, that's just my demented old self talking, so don't listen.

I must say I wasn't expecting much, after I learnt about the hand-over from Insomnic *sigh* to VU *evil music*, and so I rented it first, and then never bothered to buy. For me, it was more of a chore to play, rather than something that made me want to finish it.

My score: 3.5/10, and 3 of that comes striaght from the fact that the game had Spyro in it. cheesy grin wink cool

Yeah. I was on this one site a long time ago, and they gave this game an eight...out of 40. So maybe the game was a little crappy, but that's downright harsh.

It was a disapointment for me. I tried to like it, I really did. The graphics were beautiful however and the levels were a decent size.

But, there were a few things that got on my nerves. Due to the fact that I ONLY have a PS2, and can't see me getting any of the other consoles, I had to put up with loading times. And I'm sorry, the first time, I thought my PS2 had crashed.

And, well, I was annoyed at the fact there was only one home world, I always liked going to these different places with different styles. A swamp one place, in the sky the next. And the themed home worlds through Spyros 2 + 3.

I didn't get to see Hulk Ripto. Probably because I stopped playing half way through. Kudoes if you did, I didn't. I didn't like it.

Hero's Tail however, seems more promising because Universal can see where they need to improve, and will have hopefully applied those to this game. smiley

The only GOOD thing about that game was: Most of the voices, and the way you pay Moneybags. Thats it. But I did find a COOOOL glitch, though it was kinda freaky. It was in Luau Island, and all the level just dissapeared (I didn't do anything) and all I could see was the objects. And I dived underwater (I could tell because there was some coral) and the scenary came back, rose, and the it dissapeared. Talk about freaky, eh?
