Should it be done in "traditional" animation, or CGI?

I vote CGI, and do it in an adeventure type, like the Sonic SatAM show was.

It should be CG and look like the games.

And yeah, I like your SatAM idea, though while I love SatAM I'm against that happening to Spyro. Alternate universes of a game are how plot holes and other problems are formed (see other: MegaMan).

I agree, the characters from the games should be included, (yes, including Ripto!)

I'd like it if it began with the first game, Spyro heading out to rescue the crystallized dragons and defeating Gnasty Gnorc.

I'd prefer Tom Kenny to do the voice for Spyro, he did a terrific job in "Ripto's Rage" and "Year Of The Dragon."

I don't see why not, Tom Kenny is one of the best American voice actors around.

I believe the last time Kenney was the voice for Spyro was ETD. I'd like it if they could bring him back for a future game...

I doubt he's that hard to convince. He's on half the cartoons on television, at least. They prolly replaced him because he saw that ETD didn't do so well and he didn't feel like he wanted to continue the series. It didn't sound like he had much fun on ETD either. I just loved him as Sgt. Byrd.

A friend of mine who is working with me on Legacy of Ages the upcoming 2008 Spyro movie contacted Tom Kenny and asked him would he be intrested in reprising the role of Spryo in a film. So far he is too busy. If I had a huge budget then I am sure he would be very happy to return to do Spyro's voice. Unfortunately, I don't have a whole lot of money due to the fact I have sunk so much money into this and two other projects already.

Looks like I am going to be doing Spyro's voice after all not that I mind I just wish I could get some of the original actors involved. Oh well it doesn't matter because either way this film is going to get made and released.

Well, A theatrical release isn't totally out of picture or the realm of possibility. I am actively working on the film and soon I will have the film logo and new character models and sample scenes from the film complete enough to show off to the public.

Attention... The first few character design updates are almost finished. Over the course of the next few days samples will start appearing. Also, all of you will get a first glimpse at the adult forms of Spyro, Ember and Flame from 34 years later future that will appear in the film. The film will feature brand new locations and totally revamped images of older locations. The biggest highlight of the film will be the futuristic Vanguard Command from 34 years in the future. The film will be very dramatic and emotional. The film will take Spyro and his friends to the next level and begin to develop them as individuals who have their own unique goals and reasons for doing what they are doing. The biggest and probably the most anticipated event in the film will be the reunion of Hunter and Bianca. Don't worry I have truly touching moment planned for these two. The fun part will be when Elora and Ember meet for the first time in the film. I know the fanfiction seems a tad bit out of sync but wait until this saga is over and you will see how it all links seamlessly together.

This film is a prequel to Spyro: Dragon of Destiny and it is also the first of two planned films. The second film has the rough title of Spyro: Legacy of Ages: Revelation Destiny. No release date has been set for the second film yet. It is currently just an outline. But I will give you a hint. It does deal with a dual timeline and other elements. Here is also another major announcement. A brand new game trilogy is also being planned and developed. The new game trilogy will continue the plotline of the Legacy of Ages film. The first episode of the new RPG trilogy is Spyro: Legacy of Ages: Heroes - Episode One - Legend of The Phantom Gate.

The planned features of this new RPG game trilogy is to included a PLAYABLE BIANCA AND ELORA for the first time in the history of the Spyro franchise. The game features an evil group of dragons known as the Phantom Guard. These evil dragons were sealed away behind the Phantom Gate by the Dragon Elders that were the predecessors of Nestor, Titan and the other current elders. Selene, one of the members of the Phantom Guard will make her cameo debut in the Legacy of Ages film in 2008. She and the other six evil dragons will bane of Spyro and his friends thoughtout the Heroes trilogy. The release date for the game has yet to be set but I am aiming for Fall 2009 at the earliest or Spring 2010 at the latest.

So as you can see I am going to be very busy over the next couple of years. Don't worry I will keep the fanfiction series moving forward. In fact I have a Hunter spinoff series planned down the road.
