I'd have no idea, to be honest. I remembered I'd seen it once, when I had looked for Spyro pics on google.com. When I read about you wanting to see it, I just seached for it again.

Why don't you make a movie on how Spyro goes into the future and see's what's going to be in the future and some how he ends up working for Ripto and doing so much damage. The reason why he was working for Ripto is because Ripto did some brain wash on the poor guy and he became Ritpo's right hand man, kicking Crush and Gulp out of the picture. Elora, Bianca, Hunter and the rest of the charecters are in this to. At the end the bad Spyro turns into a good guy by the good Spyro reminding him who he really was and by defating Ripto and his army they put the whole world back to it's rightful state. So what do you think? Please email on what you think of the story. panamalimd@aol.com

So this is the real you?

I'd rather post my reply, so others can respond to it.

Anyway, the idea sounds rather good. I've read some idea for a game featuring timetravel a couple of days ago and that surely would be a good idea. So why not for the movie? It woulds surely be fun to see some evil side of Spyro destroying Avalar, fighting along sides Ripto. Crush and Gulp could go on strike or something, because Spyro took their place. Yet I'm not that fond of the sentimental moralistic stuff, used to get the now evil character back to his good side.

I didn't understand something though. You wrote: 'At the end the bad Spyro turns into a good guy by the good Spyro reminding him who he really was '
Are you saying there are two Spyros? One good, one bad? Maybe that's another idea... Ripto cloning Spyro. And offcourse the evil Spyro is stronger and defeats the good/real Spyro first, yet at the end, somehow, they join forces against Ripto or something.

All in all, the idea could be really good if used correctly...

(sorry about that, I just couldn't stop myself from writing.)

Or maybe Spyro could be under some demonic force or a spell via Ripto. We can only imagine...

I mean, Spyro goes back in time and sees that his future self became a bad guy. Elora, Hunter, Bianca and all of spyro's friends are Ripto's slaves. Soon they discover the past Spyro and they tell him to save the world for them. And so at the end the past Spyro tries to talk to the evil Spyro who wants to destroy him. The past Spyro tries to get him to remember his past and he finally does and together they save the realms and everyone lives happyly ever after. This was just a summery, but of course the movie is going to be longer.I'm not good in summerizing a story but I did my best. Plese tell me what you think.

Thanks for clearing that up. The concept could be really good, yet, like I allready stated, I'm not that fond of the moralistic, sensative stuff, which is often used to somehow turn the once good person, now evil, back to good. I guess I'll just have to live with it.

Wow! Horray! Wonderful! Amazing! Spectacular! Wahoooooooooooooooooooo! They're making a Spyro movie! Go Spyro! Go Universal! And please don't let us down and screw up with the plot, 'cause you're going to disappoint sooooo many spyro fans (although, I'll just be glad that there's going to be a movie)! Hmm...what if they made a movie set before Spyro 1, when Spyro was much younger (but just as clever, cute and adventurous).

with the movie they have to make it as realilistic as possible! like what spyro would look like in real life! lets see, spyros scales would be more real looking, hopefully his beautiful eyes not so cartooney! his smile should be sooo cute! i'm kinda tired seeing spyro as a cartoon! maybe a couple of cracks in his horns since he uses em alot. and as for ripto, he'd probally have scales since he's a reptile. i'll shut up so u guys could imagine what spyro and other charaters would look like in real life, and if the movie should be computer animated, etc.

*can't believe what she'd actually reading and just stares in disbeilief for several minutes, then jumps in the air squeeling* OMG! It's true. They really are going to make a Spyro movie. I feel overwealmed with happiness. I'd always thought it'd be an awsome idea, and I even read somewhere that they might be making one. The site I read that at is a really good walkthrough site (www.playstationnotebook.com). When I read that, I tried to e-mail the person who made that site asking if they had any more info and I never got a reply. But now I feel like I could sing!

I'm not really sure as to what a plot could be. I don't think I'm creative enough to think of one eather. Your guy's ideas sound cool though. Oh, and dingodilelover, they are going to make a Crash Bandicoot movie too. It says so on the list. *is excited for both movies, along with the Zelda one* I wonder when they'll come out?

Quote:
(who would they find someone short enough for Ripto anyway?)
Well, at five foot tall, I think I'd be pretty good, especially seeing how, at 15, I think I've finished growing. wink

On with the original topic: Eee, I'm nervous because I'd hate to see this movie a dud. I'll just brace myself. **crosses fingers**

However, if done well and correctly, it should be rather interesting. Especially if, like I've said before, it can be enjoyed by both kids and adults (Finding Nemo) and can easily be enjoyed by those who are not hard-core Spyro fans. smiley So, we'll just have to wait and see I guess. I'll probably get over the initial shock, think positive about it, and spend the evening bouncing around.

If this forum is still running by 2007, which I hope, then we can all give our views on it. That should be fun. cheesy

Hey Dixie, dont' feel bad. I'm 17 and I'm only 5" 2'. I think I stopped growing around age 15 too. I'm glad I'm short though. Everyone usually likes the cute little innocent short persom ^_^. Althoug it can be annoying sometimes *growls at thoughts of people that make fun of short ppl*.

I really hope the movie turns out good too. I also hope this site is still up then too. I really like this site *huggels*. And everyone is so nice here, and I like talking to ppl that have the same interests as me, especially Spyro interests. I met my best friend and complete opposite because of Spyro *glomps*.

(Sorry everyone. I'm hyper today *hops up and down and dances with soda can*)
